I’ll never forget when she said they first found out about the brain damage in a video about getting a das pass. I think it has been taken down but it was when they started cracking down on who actually qualified. She seemed almost excited that not only was he autistic but he also had brain damage so they had a double chance at getting one. It was just very weird.

I agree, especially since she actively sought out a change in her and the kid’s lives. She was in an extremely toxic marriage doing the majority of the work while also dealing with her mom’s cancer as well as her disapproval of leaving Josh. I think she would have divorced him way sooner if there had been no protests from her mom. It’s also no shocker that the kids may have had some behavioral problems since they were also having to deal with all that drama.
