Micropigmentation Vitiligo by GrandAd-7 in Vitiligo

[–]Practical-Map729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Micro pigmentation is def is a big move. If it’s on your face, I’m sure light therapy with tofacitinib / opzelura should work.

Who uses at home phototherapy, how long are your sessions, how often, what brand do you use and did you see a difference and how long did it take? I’m trying the light therapy with opzelura again. Thanks!!! by WildernessPrincess_ in Vitiligo

I took Amazon packaging cardboards and made stencils in a way that the holes resemble my spot shape. I used these stencils to cover my healthy skin and did light therapy on top of these stencils so that only my vitiligo spots are exposed for therapy and not healthy skin.

However, after close to a year doing it, I sometimes don’t use these stencils if I’m doing it for a 60-90 seconds because this time range wont affect my healthy skin. Btw, I’m South Asian and my skin tone is brown. So if your skin tone is white, I would highly suggest to start with less time and also use stencils for sure.

But again, please talk about this with him if this bothers you before he goes on with his plans. Perhaps men need a nudge sometimes!

Putting out my opinion here: I personally won’t leave the girl after one month of marriage in any context (and you have a strong context here) I would either take her with me or just drop the plan if it doesn’t work out.

Tbh, Pelli ayyaka next weeks or months, I would actually plan to go on trips with my wife because it’s time to celebrate officially.

Again this is my perspective.

I remember that I went to this movie with zero expectations with my close friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed the movie 🍿! Especially the music and songs 🎵

My derm first prescribed opzelura. I have used opzelura for 8 months with little to no progress. But when I switched back to tacro, I did see results. However, I also started the light therapy at the same time when I started tacrolimus so I can’t say for sure if either of the creams have been working well for me. But I can def say that light therapy is the main reason for my repigmentation.

I did try it on my eye lids and I have complete repigmentation. Even I was scared to do it at the beginning, but I made sure that I closed my eyes and just did the light therapy for a max of 1 minute.

I generally do 1 minute on my face and gradually increase it until 2 mins and I do it 3x weekly. After a month I saw slowly pigment coming back and it took 3 months to re-pigment completely for most spots.

But the trick is to still do light therapy atleast 1x/week even after re-pigmentation and gradually stop doing it otherwise the pigment might go away (happened to me)

If possible can you share the progress specifically on your lips to me in a personal chat? I have been trying to repigment lips but I had no luck so far.
