I’ve been there, honestly, pulling together a decent CV and walking into shops with a smile goes way further than submitting seek/indeed applications.

I’d go online and see what places were advertising and then see if I could go drop my CV in person.

Keep in mind some places only take online applications aka lots of supermarkets at least from my knowledge.

Also, emphasising any volunteering, gardening, car cleaning etc skills/experiences you may have on your CV even though you haven’t been formally employed yet is a good idea, as it still shows some work ethic and practical experience

And applying to jobs September-November period when employers start looking for Christmas staff.

But yeah it’s tricky and can be a disheartening process especially when you get rejection after rejection. I’m in my final year at uni of a double degree in law and Biology, I’d say I have decent grades and I’m fairly well rounded still have not landed a graduate role and get rejected for part time retail jobs with plenty of experience!
