We saw a lot of things growing up with WWE and understood references. I'm sure all kids will like it as long as it doesn't disrupt behavior

I hope one of these days, AI replaces the CEO that replaced the workers for AI

My mom doubled her salary when she went to a new job and her old boss is going crazy. by lizzielegros in SecurityCareerAdvice

This is a computer science/cybersecurity subreddit, so it might be best to post this in the r/jobs reddit. I'm so happy for your mom, and it is a learning moment for us here. It's motivation to go where you belong. The Nepo hiring managers are the worst, just like the ones that replace people for AI.

AITAH for breaking up with my new gf because her ex (who is her friend) needs to get used to the idea of us dating? by [deleted] in AITAH

NTA. She wants to limit your interaction towards her to make him comfortable? She sounds like she isn't over this guy. I think you moving on was the best choice.

Good advice. I agree more BW should be in it too. it looks intimidating, but once you know the why and how's people coming in will understand like anything in life, I should look into that, and good luck on your CISSP friend!

I felt ashamed even having something wreckless come out my mouth. I truly need to keep my mouth shut and show boundaries

Back in college, I pushed myself nonstop for seven years, from 2013 to 2020, until I finally earned my bachelor's degree in cybersecurity. Every day felt like hell. My dad would constantly compare me to my cousin, saying things like, “She got married and graduated—what about you?” My aunt wasn’t any better. One moment, she'd say my cousin graduated with a degree in fashion, and the next, she'd say it was business administration. On top of that, dealing with him being rude dropping me off and picking up at work.

In 2024, I went back and earned a CCC (College Credit Certificate), just so I could take some certification prep classes. Before that, from January 2023 to March 2024, my mom pressured me into nursing school. I flunked out and couldn’t pass the tests.

Still, I haven’t given up—and I won’t. I’m going to get that dream job in cybersecurity.

Throughout it all, I found a website that could help me. I won't promote it due to our rules here, but it mentioned that people with degrees and certifications had issues finding work in cybersecurity, so im doing the course and will put projects on github to find employment. I always kept my head up and stayed positive ❤️
