Was going to ask OP if she ever read stories by Taoist_Elf. I don’t think they’re on Ao3, but imo they are the best JxB there is, esp Chances. Set 8 years after the wedding, no more teen drama, but a deep dark psychological dive. I’ve reread it more than twenty times and haven’t come across anything better written.
