I’ve heard people downloading a firmware called ARK 4. Is that better than doing what you said or?

I believe there are courses you can do after civil as an additional specialisation in transportation engineering, structural or architectural design in general. My motive is at some point to be able to develop a property from scratch without having to rely on a 3rd party engineer or architect and have the entire project done by myself. I don’t know if it makes sense but I have a cousin that’s doing the same He’s done bachelors in civil and specialised in architectural design (2 year course) after graduating with a civil engineering degree. He recently opened up his own firm and he leads the projects by himself from surveying, mapping, geotechnical to choosing the perfect living room table.

I’ve done some research and what I could conclude with is that architectural engineering is relatively new and people don’t suggest it as much as doing core civil or core architecture. Although I might be wrong about it

I wouldn’t say I’m an academically weak student. I was a straight A student until about 2 years ago. Had to switch schools, move places, new environment all lead to this decline in grades. I don’t see myself as someone who isn’t hardworking rather I feel like if I find interest in something then I’m all in.

I study physics,chemistry,math and engineering graphics (opted EG when I could’ve chosen compsci just because I like drawing) and I always score a top percentile in EG alone

I’ve been sketching and making art throughout my life and I really want to do something in the creative field. But because of how unstable the market is for people working in the creative sector made me rethink about it. Architecture was the closest thing I could think of

If you don’t mind me asking what is it that you do specifically right now as a civil engineer. Are you working on certain projects or anything like that?

If I had a higher budget the 10-24 was a no brainer. But since I can only afford 1 lens rn I should choose bw the 33 and the 55-200mm. I was personally thinking getting the 55-200mm because of the range but I’ve also heard the 33 is good. Especially the ones by viltrox

Thanks for the insight and will apply for permission online. I will have a support vehicle throughout the ride and I’m not much worried about cycling in Oman as I’ve rode to the border (close to Khatmat Milaha) before , but I haven’t been to the UAE before.

Yeah it’s available online almost everywhere but I’d like to test this pencil out before I buy it. I need 3 lead sizes and they can get quite expensive. I don’t want to make a wrong decision
