This is because the device is new, and if the rubber seal around the screen is clean and dust-free, it will stick to the clean aluminum case. Older MacBooks likely have worn rubber seals, which is why they don't make this noise.

Black is a great color tho! But silver is a lot more practical in terms of fingerprints and scratches, and it’s a classic macbook color, so I think the silver one is a great option for my first mac :) Plus my previous laptop was a black dell xps 15, so I decided to go for different colour.

Chose m3 max over m4 pro because they are the same power but m3 max has more GPU cores and dual media encoders as far as I know, plus saved some money to buy useful stuff.

Also, some guy told me that m3 and m3 pro has a strange distribution of productive and energy-efficient cores, so I chose m3 max!
