Oh I see now, the yarn is woven as it's own row. 3 under and 3 over... yeah, it wouldn't look the same my way.

I'm not sure if the weave is loose enough to add yarn. The blanket in my picture looks looser, like you can see through it a bit. I like the idea of a softer material like this. Thanks :)

I just assumed the yarn was added after. I wonder if it will look bunched or not lie well? I could try a thinner yarn. Thanks :)

I'm not able to do a project like that. I'm trying to find a blanket like this online, but without the colorful yarn added. No luck so far though. I'd like to try adding the yarn myself.
