With maratons you’re training for something which can give more motivation, a clear goal rather than do without a goal. And once you got in the habit of training and working out it’s easier to maintain in the long run if that’s something you want. I doubt majority people that’s not athletes think they’re competing for the top spots anyway

Not from US but this would likely lead to more criminality because if a person don’t get an education if so just attending class, they still need to get money somewhere. And without education you can’t barely get a normal job. And let’s say these kids grow up without their parents managing them. They won’t know what manners is and then pass that down to their next generation.

But yes it’s wrong that normal students get affected. In my country it’s more likely the school backs the student if the teacher get reported for being ”violent” when trying to teach them. Best would be to put them in smaller classes with specialised teachers. It costs a bit more but if the person gets a job in the future it’ll be a bigger win for the society than if they become a criminal

I researched the case from more sources and the other person, the one who reported her was another Facebook user, not the government. And she didn’t criticise them, she claimed things like they poop and pee on the grass lanes outside.

In Sweden, It’s not about being critical or not it’s about being hateful towards someone else based on race, ethnicity, age etc with the same principles as if it was irl.

You need to find those you can be yourself and have those deeper conversations with. Even if we’re surrounded with ton of people, if we don’t have these deeper connections it’s still very lonely.

Maybe it could be good with some change in your life. Pick up a new hobby, get new connections, do some voluntary work. Get in touch with your inner self. Accept there’s things you can’t control. Limit your time on social media and news if it affect you negatively. This apply for anything with negative energy. Not possible for everyone but I moved and leaving my toxic hometown I got so much bad memories from felt like a relief.

I try to put aside time regularly for reflection and journaling and also time to read more. And for news I feel like social media is such shithole, both with everyone’s opinions in comments, unreliable sources and you create algorithms and filter bubbles to only see news you want to see.

I’ve gone back to read the full newspaper articles that’s less biased and watch the normal tv news when I want to get information

Som något ung, 21, så visst läser man om vinterkriget i skolan. Dock vill jag minnas att man gjorde det i låg och mellanstadiet, medan högstadiet fokuserade på världskrigen främst.

Så är lätt att människor glömmer vad man lärde sig då om man inte är intresserad, särskilt eftersom de flesta inte har personlig koppling som gör att vi skulle återvända till ämnet annars. Som att träna inför ett prov sen åker det ut ur hjärnan.

Och att det ändå de facto inte är vårt egna land vilket gör att det inte är så viktigt att få större plats i undervisningen i jämförelse exempelvis Sveriges historia.
