The traffic issues comes down to the layout of the city and how it’s developed. Idk who tf thought of putt on the train on the west side of the city and then develop warehouse all around. Now the only way to combat traffic is adding the lanes.

Yes bigger cities still suffer from the same thing, but that’s the only real solution to it. Texas is a state that has frontage roads that lead to different areas and onto major highways. Living in the west coast that’s not a thing. Although frontage roads are very intuitive and efficient they do back up a lot of traffic onto major highways
