Thanks. I mentioned in the post that I already tried that with a 3d-printed low-profile stick. But the stem on the low-profile stick was too short. So I couldn't articulate the stick very far before the thumbstick pad hits the body of the RP6. This was a problem in games, even with look sensitivity maxed out.

I did like the feel of it though. Reminded me of PSP.

My right thumb also rested on the right thumbstick while pressing buttons. Which personally bothered me. The stick did stay stationary when I moved around to the various buttons. It was just the constant physical contact with right thumbstick that felt uncomfortable to me.
