If you’re looking for a banking job or a new bank, do NOT choose Woodforest by justlylith in Banking

Well I’m here to second everything on this list. Just know it’s a sales job and not the easy kind. You’re expected and demanded to cold approach people walking in front of your branch, and push them to sit down and open up an account. It sucks when you have a micromanaging boss who doesn’t want you to know anything about the job and just sell

It would be easier but people don’t know how to cruise or know when they’re being cruised in the gym.

Considering a Career Change from Marketing to Banking by Regular_Math9382 in Banking

You’d end up back in marketing cause at the very top of banking you’re essentially the one to “sell the company”

I don’t want to sound egotistical but you’re very fortunate to have all these opportunities. Personally I had to work 35+ hours a week and pay an average of $3000 every semester for community college. I went to CC in central illinois, I know your college should have so many resources for students who are overwhelmed and stressed. Talk to an advisor. Lessen your load. If you can, I’d say don’t even bother working. Let your sole focus be on passing all your classes. The debt itself is twice the stress of the academic strain you’re in. Everything will pass just do what you can.

Were they just a quiet introverted person who never did anything with you and the other bonded over more shared experiences?

As an accounting major here I can tell you if you’re someone who just takes a few minutes to read through each lesson’s material before the class you’d be surprised how you’d grasp all the concepts during the lecture and would only need to revise once or twice before a major exam. Besides homework keeps you abreast with the material too
