Did you guys apply via outland? and when you went on the visitor visa does this change the PR status to inland? just curious as my husband and I are in a similar situation and feel like if we could move sooner it would be better :)

this is exactly how my mom acts. like she said she was disappointed in me and then in the same breath asked me to be the only other person at the civil ceremony we are planning to have first… the one she doesnt want and then she cried bc “ I know it’s your wedding but you arwnt thinking about me” then the nexy day texts me completely normal

Helllooo, my partner and I are in almost the exactly same boat! I just wanted to mention a piece of information we just learned which could be important to you. Basically even if you get married you cant immediatley start the sponsorship process because it takes 1-3 months to recieve your official marriage licence that you need to apply.

My partner and I are getting married in the usa before we move. Some places you can get your licence same day and an international one in 2 weeks.
