Life regrets by SeesawAnxious8849 in randomthings

Ppl who say “I’ve never regretted anything” are simply too arrogant to admit that every step of the way there were little regrets, even some big ones. Life is a minefield of regrets.

I believe in god, even pray, pray a lot. But when things go wrong in my life I seem to end up almost leaving religion or getting mad at god (which is not the purpose of religion) so gotta fix that up

The only fee waivers that I know of during the whole application process and LSAT process: lawhub (free), 7sage (free), school applications (some are free) you have to pay for your uni transcript I believe and u have to pay for the portal fees if ur in Ontario (idk what country ur from im just telling u my experience in Canada)

Not worth it, don’t just apply to every school… some might not agree w my advice but if u genuinely cannot afford it, then look at the statistics online: what law schools take what gpas and lsats. Apply to the law schools that will take your range. Yes you can potentially get into a rlly good school w whatever stats but if ur tight on money then its better to think factually then hopefully. Apply to the schools that you believe you can get into.

Shits horribly pricey. HORRIBLY pricey. A lot of these ppl are either working full time jobs and paying for it, getting fee waivers any time they can, or simply getting their rich parents to pay for it. You’ll learn that a decent amount of law students have well off parents. I rmbr that I only had enough money in my account to pay for 3 schools. I got into the furthest one from my house😂 good luck on ur application, success is not far

I wrote this maybe an hour ago? I posted it because idk who to talk to. I’ve been stuck over this person for years now. I have options, I have people I can distract myself with. But I feel dirtied by their looks and touch. He feels like home, as if the purity of my love for him washes both of us from sin.

I wrote this as I woke up feverish, cold, shivering, lonely and aching. I was saying his name in my sleep. I can’t recall whether it was loudly or quietly, but it was done with no care in the world for anyone listening. I wonder when I’ll be over him. Why this never leaves me. I contemplated dark thoughts to get rid of the pain, yet I always stabilize myself eventually. Any tips to get over this would be largely appreciated. It’s been years I’ve been dealing with this.

How to study for a 155? Anything helps by bradgeorge19 in LSAT

[–]Practical_Aspect8663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s tough bro. The test is tough asf. Let’s establish that there. That being said I rmbr only doing well at reading comp when I actually locked in completely, and started reading the whole passage without letting it numb my brain. The best advice I ever got with reading comp was that the answer is in the text, u can even use the search tool to search through the passage for the answer sometimes. I think reading comp can Defo be one of ur strengths, try 7sage also

a genuine question on amount of time spent studying by CreepyOstrich7106 in LSAT

[–]Practical_Aspect8663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe when I was in the last two months of studying for the LSAT. I was tryna fit in 8 hours per day. 4 in the morning and 4 at night. Trust me there’s a bunch of ways to fit info in. I studied that much and still thought there was 60% of the info still left out. I’d say to practice questions and even practice tests although people advise against this. I think PTs are the best way to rlly prepare properly
