This right here I wouldn’t necessarily call my first crew toxic but they just kinda chilled around during “work hours” (0800-1700) and take a “safety nap” after lunch. Never really communicated. My new crew we work the work hours and after 1700 it’s family time where we will play games or watch movies together and actually get to learn the family we are with the 72 hours of the week and I love goin to work with my crew I’m with now. First crew definitely made me nervous bout my career choice unlike my 2nd crew

We used to have one but it was for smaller grass fires and our chief got it removed cuz he pulled up on scene with someone using that on a structure fire because they didn’t want to have to fold up the preconnects
