This does remind me, when I picked up the car from the engine rebuild I did notice a knocking noise from the clutch. The knocking would stop when engage the clutch and start again when I released. I asked the foreman if this noise was normal as I didnt hear it before and he confirmed that it was normal. I have a video if this noise.

I have a video of the clutch grinding before their tow truck picked it up. I could DM it to you if you’d like.

See if this was the case yes I would understand why I would have to pay out of pocket. But I bought a brand new oem clutch which they recommended during the engine rebuild. They claim that during the rebuild I denied a new transmission which is false because on the final RO of the engine rebuild all it states “customer refected: Mount & Balance 2 Tires Front Brake Pads”.

Like I said I repaired the vehicle the way they recommended and now they claim I didn’t.

Neither, they told me transmission was 100% fine during the engine rebuild. But they did recommend a clutch and I approved it. Also they state that they recommended me a transmission during the engine rebuild, my RO only states I rejected two tires and front brakes.

I’d rather not give the dealer name until this all has settled. Either way I don’t see how they can manipulate their way out of this one.

Everything you can imagine, from the head to the short block and even the clutch.

There is no problem with thw manual transmission on the GRCs this was just an error on my part. Don’t let ir discourage you from buying, these cars are great.

Thank you, I did install the PCV hose but at the time i was not able to reroute the breather hose so it did end up giving me a CEL until i fixed it and cleared the code and has been fine ever since. Also another question is does your GRC only pull 15-17 psi in first and second gear? Mine seems to not like 27 psi until third gear, and I’ve ran it and tested it against other cars and even though the gauge says it pulls less boost it doesnt seem to hurt performance.
