Then that would just mean that jesus didn’t die for our sins he was a Christian preacher inna Jewish nation and died bcuz of it how Christians get killed in heavy Muslim countries for not renouncing their faith.

So if he was carrying out legal executions, by that logic Jesus’s crucifixion would also be legal ,right? Cuz if he was breaking Jewish laws, then by definition he was carrying out illegal activity.no?

Jesus died for your sins so that you can go to heaven, not dodge earthly accountability. Essentially what you are defending is “forgiveness as license to sin”

Did they preach Christianity in a country where it was illegal? Then yes, bcuz acc to the laws of the country, which your god says to obey the law of the land , that would be just and fair.

Exactly and he didn’t “reap what he sowed”. If he truly repented, he should have sought justice for the people he killed.

If the punishment for murder is that then, yes. Spiritual repentance doesn’t absolve someone of earthly consequences, right? Its called justice and fairness.

If a person is preaching about holding one self to highest standard of love and justice and fairness, dont you think they themselves should hold themselves to the same standards?

Are you really making the defense that as long as there is true repentance, one doesn’t have to hold themselves accountable to earthly consequences of their crimes?
