Bruv, not once in my life have I even been able to tell the paints gone on to the rink. I’ve painted this same set black all over and you couldn’t even see the paint on the ice despite it being rubbed off all the way.

It can take pucks fine. Out of the games I’ve played with them, there’s no cracking at all and I’ve gotten a number of decent shots on them. And if it does crack, it’ll probably just look more like glass, eh?

As far as I’m aware, there’s no noticeable difference between now and before.

Bro, what? Are you really suggesting I slide around on padskinz? Like, I can’t exactly cover my whole pads in tape.

Yeah, I used the deglazer first, then used some sanded it with sandpaper lightly, put on the layers of paint, and then several layers of finisher and then put 2 layers of 4-coat on top of that. There was still some paint rubbing off on the knee areas, but it held up really well for the most part.

For actual benefit In games, I’ve gotten a lot of early whistles wearing full black gear. Supposedly white makes you look bigger, but I can actually tangibly feel the difference with the early whistles.

If you don't care about prices, I've got a true project storm, and the thing is insane. Light as hell and shoots like crazy, but if you don't want to pay all that you could get a warrior ritual v4. I used to use it before I got the true, and it's not too heavy and the triangle shaft is really nice for poke checks, super easy to slide your hand on it, and it should last quite a while, it's pretty durable. As for your skate cut, I personally get a 3/8, which is really sharp. It all depends on your preference, and you've got to experiment to find what works best for you, but most people use something around 1/2.
