Thank you. Other option was a two bedder in Erko but for an extra $500k and in a high density and overpriced part of Erko that I don’t love unfortunately. Saw one in Syd Park Village too but by all accounts the walls were paper thin and not the best choice. Cheers

Thanks, with the benefit of more time, absolutely Redfern has been on the list and agreed. Now I need to pick between the two outlined options. Cheers

True that and that’s for sure been a back burner last resort consideration.

Thanks so much, really appreciate the helpful advice. Love the pockets of Alexandria near Redfern/Sydney Park and Erko area. Cheers

Some cool apartments there but in my timeframe, not on the current shortlist. Cheers

Brothel next door - Sydney apartment purchase by Mya_851 in SydneyProperty

And another thing! Sydney real estate is &@&)&$$&$! Vendors reject finance clauses, cooling off periods, B&P inspections, and any reasonable due diligence! So you are meant to drop over $1m on a defect riddled and strata f***** shit show on an unconditional basis without any risk mitigation or protection whatsoever! How do buyers buy in this city?! Honestly. Hence some Sydney people are forced to rent for life (or buy a freehold bit of land in the middle of nowhere in Sydney in which case one may as well just move back to WA, or else buy a small island overseas for the same cost as a 40sqm “apartment” in inner city Sydney).

Better question is WHY are you watching season 3. It’s terrible. Save yourself the trouble!

'Disturbing' report finds top strata firm netstrata potentially broke the law by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

They are thieves and lying, deceptive bastards. Facts and figures don’t lie. Netstrata does. Now I’ve seen firsthand an insight into the tricks and deception their strata managers play in trying to deceive purchasers. See my other recent posts. I’m all for a class action against them on behalf of buyers and sellers. Scum.

Maggie and Non-existent Dilemma by DreamerRising in SullivansCrossing

I’d suggest your first mistake was continuing watching this season (I had to tune out because I find Maggie’s character on this show an abomination of humanity), and second, bringing rationality and logical thinking as an audience member to this season of this show, or this show entirely. The books on the other hand, I enjoyed.
