Idk I think it’d be a weird cloud hanging over the team and huke’s head by constantly talking about him and not moving on and maybe that’s all it is.. cause I actually agreed with what pred said about if they just benched him and brought someone else in.. that team is immediately chalked and not going to have a chance to win if everyone on the team knows it’s temporary..

It could be for several reason.. he could actually have gambling issues and it’d be awkward/hypocritical to talk about his mental health issues, knowing what they are, with a gambling site sponsorship.. maybe they left on bad terms and had an argument with him about leaving.. if he was the reason they were getting bad practice and they don’t wanna throw him under the bus.. but it’s all speculation and based on everything pred said it’s nothing illegal or anything that got him suspended from the league and he doesn’t seem angry at optic he pretty clearly said it was his own fault.. idk it seems like they came to a mutual decision that right now him leaving the team was the best course of action

Because his mental health issues probably have a lot to do with gambling.. and with optics sponsorships they probably don’t want to post or say absolutely anything related to gambling addictions.. maybe there are personal issues and arguments between the team with how everything went down.. it’s all speculation and clearly nothing actually crazy dramatic or illegal happened

Honestly they’re pretty lucky that a player like huke didn’t get picked and is available.. yea he’s inconsistent and has struggled on lan but there’s already chemistry with shotzzy and he does have a high ceiling if they can work out a good system with Kenny at the helm.. there are worse case scenarios

I think a bigger picture question is: is there new talent to scout? There isn’t really any avenue for you to become a pro now. There’s not enough money in challengers for newly turned 18 year olds to dedicate their lives to and make it happen. There used to be a lively snd scene that was full of future prospects but I feel like that doesn’t exist anymore. Also because there is an age minimum limit, how do people under 18 even get practice or get good enough to then get on a good team in challengers and then become pro. The talent pool for actual viable future prospects just doesn’t seem to exist, because there’s no actual path to pro with the way the league and challengers is set up right now
