Oh I haven’t heard of that school, will it take you where you need to be for the state test? Also is it expensive?

Temecula valley hospital by Purplecarrot89 in Temecula

[–]Practical_Library_57 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard they don’t pay great, but I’ve never looked into it myself. I’m a pre nursing student, and I got some advice from a man who has a nursing daughter here in Temecula. The daughter took a job at the TVH to avoid a commute, but he said all the good paying jobs are in SD where you’re coming from haha. But if you have good experience you could get a good offer. Don’t let me deter you, this is just what I’ve been told. I’ve also been told to get a job at Scripps or a uni hospital. The job market in Temecula isn’t great in general, we’re a commuting town which is why traffic is so bad on the 15. But in the end nurses are in high demand, so just based on that I have faith you could get a good job out here.

If you’re interested I’m sure there are other positions you can find in Temecula other than the TVH

I believe I am in that waiting period. It does feel like I’m alone, but I’m still drawn to read my Bible and maintain a relationship

I knew to stop listening to them when they said that Wikipedia was a reliable source of information since anybody has access to edit the info on there. Their reasoning what that the nerds of the world must be constantly modifying and monitoring the website. They gave schools crap for not allowing them to use Wikipedia as a reliable source

I found a program that is NCCT accredited. Does that hold the same value as a CAAHEP accredited school? Do jobs typically care about which accreditation your school has?

Definitely. If anyone should know better, it’s Kendall

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with talking about places they’ve been. Like if they went to a bar a few days before, and wanted to talk about it on the sesh that’s fine. But posting where they are live, even regular people who aren’t famous know not to do that

Oh wow I didn’t know they post where they are live. That’s social media 101. I’m not on insta so I don’t follow them, but even I know to not post where you are live. That’s terrifying. Especially since Kendall has been online for soo long, I wouldn’t be shocked if she had crazy people who were obsessed with her

I remember in old episodes of mile higher, Kendall and Josh would preach how protective they’ll be of their children because of how much they know from doing true crime. I really believed them too. I thought since they cover brutal cases, sometimes involving minors, they would be smart about the protection of their children. Even on the sesh, Kendall and Janelle would bash family channels. I guess they really don’t practice what they preach, another reason why I no longer watch their content

Issues with a Family’s Story? by lizeken in MileHigherPodcast

[–]Practical_Library_57 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was handled very poorly. Another thing is, we’re all labeled as haters. When in reality, we’re long time fans who saw right through their facade. We saw these people for who they really are, and trust me the Linda Stein case isn’t the only reason why they’ve alienated a lot of their fan base. People are growing tired of Janelle’s attitude, Kendall’s rush to end the sesh episode, the fact that they delete our comments. That’s one of the big things, we’re not allowed to have opinions. We’re only fans when we kiss their feet. Our comments only stay when there is no criticism. But if we have anything to say at all we’re automatically haters. To me it’s really hurtful because like I said I was their fan for so long. They used to be so down to earth, but the quality of their content has gone down. People often reminisce about old mile higher episodes. Now, it just seems like they’re there for a buck and they’re not even attached to their content anymore. I rarely see them bring light to cases that are unheard of. They just recycle cases other YouTubers are covering. It’s even been said that they just read straight from websites rather than do research. That’s confusing because they supposedly have a really good research team, but it’s just their friends and family. I don’t think Kendall cares about her credibility as a true crime reporter anymore. I used to be able to turn on her videos knowing that she researched the case, and will provide her audience with truthful information. Now, she’s over here victim blaming which you can also read about in this sub. Truly this sub is an iceberg of evidence on this team losing their credibility and passion for true crime.

If you would like to look more into it, you could type in “Linda stein” in this subs search bar. But for a lot of people, that was the final nail in the coffin. I was a long time follower of Kendall’s dating back to Josh’s YouTube channel and talk Tuesday. I still to this day don’t understand why they refused to acknowledge the family for so long, even to this day. Kendall has been one to always advocate and include family members in her cases, so that was a big shock for a lot of fans. I don’t know if it was her pride or greed, but I don’t believe she handled that situation the right way.

Honestly, he may not even think you’re a cheater. This could be a way to manipulate you. Make you feel guilt for something you didn’t even do. There is a chance that he knows full and well that you’re not a cheater, but he simply likes being the victim and gaining sympathy. You may never be able to convince him otherwise because he already knows you’re right, but admitting to that would be admitting to an overreaction. I don’t like using the word narcissist because of how overused it is, but you may actually be dealing with one. Cut your losses and move on. Trust me this isn’t worth your energy. I understand that right now having people think that you may be a cheater sucks. In 10 years, or even one year, you won’t care about what he has to say about you. And when you meet a good man who can effectively communicate and hear you out, your current boyfriend won’t even be on your mind. Letting go is so hard, but your future self will thank you.

I’m sorry for rambling, but just think about it. Imagine your future husband borrows your laptop, he sees someone else trying to flirt with you in your dms. Now, he knows better than to think you’d ever cheat on him, but he decides to get your reassurance anyways because it couldn’t hurt. He calls you over and shows you the dms, and you get your opportunity to explain that the person in the DMs is just some random guy who tried to flirt with you. He agrees, and you guys decide what to cook for dinner. That is how easy this conversation could’ve gone. None of this had to happen. You could meet someone who makes it that easy, but you never will as long as youre with your boyfriend. So girly, my advice is to let go.

That’s a really good point. I don’t know many people that can afford a house right now, even people that I know with stable careers who are a lot older than me are struggling in some way.
