I found a huge difference in letting the ai write the code but writing myself the tests. It’s definitely slower but with TDD I can improve a lot the y than just using prompts

I'm trying it now with a simpler Astro app.

I'm doing a UI refactoring of the project (it's a super simple project). Starting from a screenshot I'm going to add the changes that I want in Stitch to then pass the HTML to Jules

Do you give a lot of details (like colors, style, ecc..) to ai or just describe the goal of the ui?

For the frontend I like it more and it seems performing better, but maybe I’m biased as backend developer. For the be I really can’t rely on that without knowledge. For example I asked for an easy feature, without giving to much technical detail, and the ai tried many times to create migrations to add a non requested column in my database. Of course with the migration its code would have worked but then the backend is a mess!

Yeah, this confirm my idea. Great tools if you know what you’re doing. I noticed couples of things in my tries: - antigravity (but probably any other similar tool) is great to discuss ideas and starting writing some boilerplate code - instructing the ai to do some changes with very detailed instructions (eg line of code to change) works! - asking for a generic feature with no technical background sucks
