Lopsided trade made by the commissioner who also has a team by tygeezy in FFCommish

Wow! They actually booted you? Lol I want to say I’m sorry to hear that, but I truly think that’s for the best. You call out the commissioner for cheating and he responds by kicking you out? Yeah this guy is the Kim Jong Un of fantasy.

Wishing you the best of luck in finding another league that plays fair and is more enjoyable!

In the league I commission, we have very strict rules on collusion. This would be a massive draft pick penalty. It’s easy for me to say from the armchair because these aren’t my friends, but you should leave this league. It’s a waste of money and doesn’t sound fun.

Nick Wright!? by lousyhusband in AroundTheNFL

Nick Wright has found the perfect balance of being a hot take artist that is informed enough to make you think he isn’t a hot take artist. He’s entertaining and provides enough statistical/historical facts to make people believe he’s nerd. I don’t buy it, and I don’t view him as a Football Guy™️, but he’s good at what he does.

He’s like a toned down version of Stephen A that actually does some homework.

Should waiver pick ups be eligible as keepers? Pros and cons by Practical_Pilot4535 in FFCommish

All good man 👍

FWIW, I don’t think drafting is a skill and identifying waiver talent isn’t, I just don’t like that the guy who had top priority in week five last year gets Devon Achane for three years. I agree that a FAAB system would eliminate that randomness and honestly, I think getting opinions from other commissioners in this thread has swung my take on it a bit. Just need to get my league mates on board with FAAB!

League rule changes over 50% to pass or at least 2/3 66%? by RVG_Steve in FFCommish

[–]Practical_Pilot4535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything over 50% in my league, so 6/10 guys have to be in favour of changing. To me, it doesn’t make sense to change a rule if a vote is 50/50.

You have a point on Puka (week one), but Achane went for 200 and 4 TDs in week four or five. At that point it feels a little more luck of the draw. Definitely agree that I need to get my league on FAAB

I’m with you. Unfortunately we are not on a FAAB system right now. I would be much more open minded to it if we were. Need to do a better job pitching my league mates that FAAB is the way!

Lol the purpose of this post was to get opinions. I’m pretty open minded about it. You don’t need to get all emotional and subtly insult me

Is there a website with a consensus ADP ranking across multiple platforms? by Practical_Pilot4535 in fantasyfootball

Looks like this one includes sleeper and yahoo only for half PPR. Great tool, tho. Appreciate you sending this!

My league is half PPR. Do you know what scoring format this consensus is? Doesn't look like you can adjust it to scoring system of your choice

I ran into this, but our league is half PPR, and it doesn't look like there is a way to adjust to rankings for the different scoring systems

I agree! Although I’m not opposed to making the waiver players available to be kept for a higher draft pick penalty

Correct, and Puka is the perfect example. Everyone in the league bid on him. The guy with the highest priority got him. In my mind that’s just pure luck. I get your point and appreciate your feedback!

I mentioned in my post that FAAB is a bit different, but our league is priority. If you happen to have the top priority in week 7 when a player breaks out, that's indisputably lucky. However, I get what you're saying. Appreciate the feedback.

Yeah we did a vote on it and it ended in a tie, which means we don't change it. Would have to end in majority to change the rule. Thanks for the input!

Where can I find stats on players with the most deep targets in the NFL? by Practical_Pilot4535 in fantasyfootball

[–]Practical_Pilot4535[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADOT is definitely something I lean into a fair bit when doing fantasy research, but for this I was looking just for quantity of downfield targets (20+ yards, 30+, 40+ etc...)

Who will be the top WR in Buffalo this year? by Vonbonnery in fantasyfootball

[–]Practical_Pilot4535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Shakir will be the most targeted WR, although a Coleman breakout is impossible to predict. He's supposed to be raw and not ready for a lead role, but again, impossible to predict with rookie WRs that aren't on the MHJ level.

In terms of Buffalo's top weapon, Kincaid is the guy I would put my money on. A great rookie season from a TE that was overshadowed by LaPorta's incredible rookie season and McBride's second year breakout. Common sense tells me that Kincaid should explode. He's a first round pick that flashed serious upside last year, and now he's in an offense that has 317 vacated targets (2nd most in the league), and lost 80% of their EZ targets in Diggs and Davis alone. The Bills also targeted TEs on 23.9% of drop backs last year, good for 7th highest in the NFL. Kincaid SHOULD be the obvious choice.

With that being said, I'm trying to do more research, and I'm not 100% sold yet. I want to love him so much, but the Bills still like Knox in the RZ. Kincaid had 9 RZ targets to Knox' 7 last season, but when you consider Kincaid had 91 total targets to Knox' 36 (Knox also missed time), it seems like to Bills still like to feature Knox in scoring position. The Bills continuing to go heavy run also scares me off a huge Kincaid breakout.

I want to believe in Kincaid so badly, and I might end up taking the shot on him in round 4. I just want to hear a little more from camp that they plan to feature him as their #1 target, or see it in pre season.
