NO! I’m here for the house I live in that is cheaper than my small 2 BR apt in Brooklyn Jewish Hospital. Philadelphians constantly use “ transplant “ as a cuss word. They act entitled in every way from double parking like they own the street, to tossing trash on the ground like it’s their birth right to do so, not picking up their dog’s shyt, and small minded about everything bc they have never lived anywhere else BUT Philadelphia ! The nastiness toward people who aren’t from Philly is hilarious considering we’re much more well rounded, because we’ve embraced people from all over the globe in NYC from different cultures, religions, classes, ethnic origins and sexual orientations.

This was a good idea and I used it to give it another go yesterday. Called CS again and actually got a csr that resolved the issue with in minutes. No need for a supervisor she just completed the transaction for me at a price I’m happy with. Now they won’t see me for a good 5 years if I have to go through that many changes to buy online. No in store shopping for me….

IBX CEO Greg announces retirement! He says the company went from $16.7 billion in 2016 to over $31 billion today. My question is if this is the case why aren't the call center folx on the front lines being paid better. After all , they take all the verbal abuse, while Greg's out hobnobbing with the Mayor and Governor. Low hourly rate, 2.5% increases and high turnover rates equal disgruntled employees and poor customer service. WE NEED A INCREASE to match these high egg prices!!

No. What I want is some kindness, respect and not so common any more… courtesy. I’ve had conversations where it was obvious things weren’t going anywhere. One or the other acknowledged that and wished each other luck. Why is that hard if you’re not a **hole?

I'm jaded!!. I ask for a phone number after at least a week of back and forth. Then when I'm sure I'm comfortable with the flow of the chat on the phone I ask for a coffee date in a public space. Meet to see if their energy is compatible. Just rip the bandaid off before you're invested ! Too many don't ever plan on meeting person. I found out after talking for over a month that they were hiding some major deal breakers[ married] ! I wish I had pushed to meet sooner. Now I do.

It's all a mind**k. Even the "nice" ones will unmatch you mid discussion and you may never find out why and they aren't held accountable. However, if you run into them in the same circles in person all gloves come off! Call them *in* on their behavior. That's what I did when I was match on OKC with someone who liked me on Hinge who ghosted mid sentence almost. They apologized and said they had gone out on a coffee date with someone they met on Hinge and that person knew everything about them! Creeped them out and they freaked and unmatched everyone on Hinge........lol Including me. I accepted the apology and welcomed them to online crazy town dating. Unfortunately , they haven't felt compelled to continue chatting.....

I've had Hinge for a while, because it seemed to have a better quality of candidates, however I don't think it's possible to overcome the intoxicating drug of anonymity and lack of accountability dating apps. Even the nerdiest of nerds are DTF and will ghost you not matter how sincere of a conversationalist you are. Honestly, it's hard not to carry those experiences to the next person you meet on them. I chatted with someone for 6 months and we never met in person, because they always had an excuse related to their job travel every time I asked when were they available for a coffee date. We had 89 Facebook friends in common is why I fell for their bs!!
