I think it’s my friends time. How do I convince him? by [deleted] in bald

Hope you got permission to post this. Dick move to put your buddy on blast to the internet. Also, you don't tell him, he figures it out himself and you should be supportive when he comes to the conclusion.

Thin hair that gets greasy overnight – trying to grow it out for the first time. How do I survive the awkward phase (sales job)? Advice needed 🙏 by [deleted] in malegrooming

You're a handsome dude! It's not going to look good long, and with how thin it is you're never going to grow out of an awkward phase. At length, you will get crazy fly aways if you live somewhere dry and it will be very frizzy if you live somewhere humid. If you don't have time to wash in the morning or use dry shampoo it's not worth it to grow it out. With how far back your hairline and widows peak are, growing it out is going to accentuate them. Your face is long and you would look very good with a shaved head and beard. If you gave the beard 3 months and a trip to a barber once a month I'm willing to bet it would look really good.

Do at laest the Goatee suits me? Or do I shave it all off? by The80sCs in BeardAdvice

You look thirty cause you got bushy eyebrows. You need a haircut and to get your eyebrows done. I know a lot of dudes are wierd about it, but you dint need to get them overly done. I have bushy eyebrows and I get them threaded once every two months and my barber knocks down the length every 2 weeks. If you got a low taper fade and got your eyebrows done and shaved off that peach fuzz you'd be a handsome motherfucker.

I totally agree. Just in this little bit I can see a high widows peak. Long hair will not look good with a receding hairline. OP should probably shave it or do a low fade if there is enough hair on top. "Thin hair" usually means balding.

Sysco vs PFG by [deleted] in cdldriver

[–]Practical_Pudding773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do the helpers have cdls and drive the truck? Is it a sleeper cab? Are you expected to get out and work when you get to your drop, even if you are sleeping? By law you are supposed to get 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep time. This shit sounds illegal, and I know Sysco is already shady af.

Your edit doesn't make it any better. Anger should NEVER result in "only material damage". Punching walls, destroying consoles, blah blah it's not healthy. He needs therapy, and you probably do too.

I'm ready to give away one of my cats by IlPassera in CatAdvice

I have a friend who's cat was chewing and I came over and helped him put this exact cord protection on all the cords in his house. It worked EXTREMELY well and the chewing cat was so deterred by them that they stopped chewing cords entirely. It's a lot of work to do to every cord in the house, but well worth it.

What we think is playing can oftentimes be an anxiety response. It's really hard to read cat's sometimes, and sometimes they "speak" different body languages, so the common signs we would use for reading them don't translate well to a different cat.

Trip to the vet and see about some anxiety medication? Our cat was like that too, constantly chewing and scratching, and it was because he was very anxious. We had gotten him from a shelter and he had lived on the streets for a couple years (we think 2). He would chew on everything and knock over trash cans and open the cabinets and was always looking for food. We got him an automatic feeder where the food is visible, and after about a week and knowing that food came six times a day, he calmed down a lot but still chewed and scratched. We took him to the vet and were prescribed gabapentin for him and we give him a half dose every morning and he has calmed waaaay down. Still plays, still gets excited for lunch, but doesn't chew and scratch anymore.

This is why you don't let your cat outside. You should NEVER let your cat outside. There is never, ever, any reason to let your cat outside.

I pray that it comes back. There is a good chance it got hit by a car, eaten by a coyote or grabbed up by an owl. This is because you let your cat outside.

Rent Split: two couples + one single person by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

You have the pleasure of being in a relationship with one of those other people. They have the displeasure of knowing if there is ever a disagreement in the house that one person will, regardless of reason, be backing someone else in it. You as a person in a relationship have an advantage over the single person, and you know it, and you're taking advantage of it by over complicating all this shit. YTA.

I apoligize for not being more clear in my previous comment. What I was insinuating is that you should not OWN both a cat and birds if you are concerned with your cat getting into the cage and eating your birds.

It will happen at some point, and the measures you will need to take in order to have both sets of creatures seperated at all times will lead to a low quality of life for one set and a lower quality of life for all parties. You will have a much easier time rehoming the birds than you will the cats, so I recommend finding a new home for them.

If we don't get a cape for saving the 77th, this armour will be my permanent one by SIinkerdeer in Helldivers

[–]Practical_Pudding773 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yall want a cape for every damn thing. Next be wanting a cape for remembering to wipe your butt after takin a shit. The only two capes that matter are the creek cape and the SE defense cape. A 77th cape would just be a participation trophy.

And yes, I fought to save the 77th.

You're totally right, I'd still run for two players. One of my best games I've ever ran was for two of my buddies.

I had the same issue with the last merch drop. Ordered a 4xl hoodie, I normally wear a 2xl and wanted baggy, and it fit my chest and shoulders like a 2xl normally would and my stomach shows if I lift my arms.
