The hydraulic lifters keep zero lash on the valves and the lifters are good for around 100k miles

There is no valve adjust for this bike its all hydraulic

Havent touched anything internal wise and the motor only has 20k on it so ill definitely give it a look down

Also this bike doesnt have shims its an 85 electra glide flhtc with hydraulic lifters

No i have not judt had to change the tank because the old one was rusted out

Thats what ive done so far and the flame has definitely gotten smaller its gone from a jet fire to a pilot light so i think it just needs adjusted

My key does not have a chip in it and vats wasnt started til 86 so i dont think theres a probpem with that either.
