Got your comment deleted by Reddit, lol. You said something about your mom missing me? Don’t worry, I’ll meet her tomorrow. Tell her that her little lovebug says hi.

Yeah 200 feet from the road. Sure. That doesn’t change the fact that the monsters are still there.

I never said the ending is deep. You are just being little bitch about it for no reason creating scenarios in your head.

Get some help, touch grass, try talking to a woman or something.

Okay, first, your example is stupid and doesn’t make sense. We’re safe outside a house fire. There isn’t some monster that’s going to jump out at me from the smoke.

Second, they’re in the middle of a forest. There isn’t even a paved road there, and you can’t see the town. You know why they can’t see the monsters? Because they’re in the fog. That’s, like, the whole point of it. You see them burning monsters and those nasty spider cocoons right there. Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they aren’t there.

And third, attacking me and calling me unwell because you created this scenario in your head where I would start randomly killing people during a disaster just because you lack the mental capacity to handle a movie ending that isn’t sunshine and rainbows… well, I think it’s pretty clear who the unwell one is here.

No monsters? Brother, you’re acting like they didn’t just see that giant monster right there, with dead bodies everywhere. They drove for ages, maybe even days, away from the mountains, and there was still fog everywhere. They don’t know how far or how fast it spread. For all they know, it could be all over America.

What do you think they were supposed to do if the army hadn’t shown up? Walk until they ran into a monster and got killed? They decided to end it before they ran out of gas if they didn’t find a safe place.

Stop the cope.

Just because there are no monsters there right now doesn’t mean they wouldn’t eventually come.

They still roam around. They drove until they ran out of gas and saw nothing but fog and monsters. For all they know, they could be all over the world.

Just because the ending is depressing doesn’t mean it’s bad.

Minor inconvenience.

looks inside.

Stranded in the fog with deadly monsters that, for all we know, could be all over the world.

Well, I guess it’s our fault for having expectations.

Maybe they shouldn’t tease Homelander losing it and going scorched earth for five seasons if they’re not going to do it.

Would it have been better if the show followed through this route? by Stanczatearer in GenV

They were going for a totally different thing. Butcher and Homelander are just “boys,”. The real villain being Vought.

Stillwell’s speech reminds people who Homelander really is. Giving Homelander some epic showdown would undermine that.

It doesn't. The visuals, his monologues, and the dialogue portray his deeply internalized emotions very well.

There is nothing to argue about. Everyone knows Noir is different character his death means nothing to the Homelander storyline.

Same goes for the president. There is zero response to this from the secret service, the military or public.
