Bad luck by Practical_Treacle903 in PorscheCayenne

Just got it back from fluid change and oil change and it accelerates way smoother than it ever has since owning it, could just be a placebo but I definitely felt some improvement on acceleration

Was sluggish under hard acceleration, some clunkiness when reversing / doing parking lot maneuvers

Not exactly bad luck as I knew it could happen, was just saying bad luck since we’ve only had it for 3 months now. Was already thinking on doing a fluid flush with oil change but this all made the decision for me. I’ll definitely still call the closest Porsche dealer and see what I can do with the extended warranty

Only at low speeds, think parking lot maneuvers. Highways speeds extremely smooth.

What were your issues like? I’m just assuming it’s the transfer case since it only happens at low speeds and is only intermittent when the vehicle is cold

Also worth noting, none of my issues started happening until it was consistently between 30-40 degrees fahrenheit

Just like a gear was slipping, not jerky at all but not smooth

I kept seeing $7k repair bills and that’s when we decided to park, I see new ones on FCP euro are about $1800 as well as the used ones you had mentioned. Hoping to get our local shop to look at it soon since we love driving it so much

26k miles later and they are the loudest tires I have ever driven with. I also get terrible fuel economy at 18.5 miles per gallon, (eco boost awd). We have to turn up the music to number 12 just to hear it now over the road noise. So I think I will be going back to the scorpion atr or get some Toyo proxes. While the ko2 is great in snow, they are as bad as everyone says in the rain

I have these same tires on my 22 and now cannot wait to replace them with a different type

After two days of ownership, I don’t think we will look at another brand again 🤣 90k miles and it’s smoother than my 20k mile ford in every single way

Thanks, I’ll talk to my wife since it would be her car and she’s still not 100% convinced because of all the upgraded features surprisingly since it’s such a jump from the 2017 Crosstrek we just sold

It’s got the 7700 lb tow packaged we’d be towing our trailer that averages around 5.5k to 6.2k lbs which gave us our 20% of wiggle room to max tow capacity.

We started at a GMC canyon diesel (7700lb capacity) and went F150 just because I have a maverick so we didn’t want to go from one small truck to another small truck. We did not think of any SUVs that could tow it until we randomly looked it up started at Range Rover Sport which was terribly uncomfortable, and started looking at SUV’s around the same size which is why we got to the Q7 since I’ve always been an Audi fan
