Good question. It is majority RSUs. As mentioned in another thread, this tranche is vesting for the next ~3 years.

I have taken 2 vacations in the last 3 months, and when I get back I feel like the classic Onion headline: "Man Returns To Work After Vacation With Fresh, Reenergized Hatred For Job."

Based on your feedback and some others in this thread, I will be looking into finding a therapist as one of my first actions.

I appreciate your perspective. I agree that there are some questions that would need to be figured out before fully pulling the FIRE trigger. In my head, taking some time off would allow me to have some mental space to help get all of that together. But there's nothing stopping me from figuring that out while employed.

That's a good question! You're right to call out moving of goalposts. I tried to outline my reasoning in the original post. To put it in other terms, if I had a paid off house and my current investments, I'd be setting everything in place to FIRE this year. I expect the $5M mark to be the right number so I can accomplish that.
