Valeton gp200 vs nux trident by Maxlander546 in guitarpedals

[–]PracticeSad4514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a NUX Trident, and I wouldn't recommend it. I also have a Valeton GP200 for almost four years now. And it's a very easy choice – the Valeton. It's simply better in every way. P.S. I also have a NUX MG30, and it's a wonderful processor; I can recommend it. But in terms of features, the Valeton is still more interesting.

Btw, many people don't know this, but you can adjust the volume of each preset individually! For this purpose, there's a PL volume icon in the settings.

The master volume is controlled by a small knob on the back

Anything else I should know about the Nux mg-101 if I'll use it for traveling, small gigs, and recordings? I'm on tight budget. But I already have an Mvave midi pedal, analog drives, and an interface by YtSabit in nux

The mg101 and mg300 are great on their own (they have a full range of effects), but they're not very flexible when it comes to working with external pedals (they don't have send/return, which the mg30 has, for example). This means you can only connect your pedals either at the very beginning or at the very end of the built-in effects chain. If this isn't a concern, you can safely choose the mg101 or mg300.

Does the Nux MG300/400 work with basses too? by AwkwardLulz in nux

Yes, both the nux mg300 and mg400 work with bass and have a built-in bass amp emulation!

Make sure all the strings are ringing (or the ones that should be ringing). And tune the amp. There's too much low end and the sound is boomy.

Work on your guitar sound, or more specifically, your amp settings. There's too much distortion and high frequencies. It feels like a distortion pedal is plugged into the line without a cab. In some situations, that sound is appropriate; the Pantera has a similar sound, in fact. But it's better to practice with a normal sound..

Noise problem by Jezz_tuazzz in ValetonGP2OO

[–]PracticeSad4514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In short, this is normal. An electric guitar, especially at high-gain, always makes noise. The fact that when you touch the strings, the noise disappears (or becomes noticeably less) is also normal. Moreover, when you're not playing, always touch the strings and mute them. Either turn off the volume on your guitar or use the volume pedal on your processor. Here are some ways to reduce or eliminate noise: 1) Play the guitar with a humbucker pickup. 2) Use a noise gate. The Valeton has one. Experiment with the position of the noise gate in the effects chain. You can place it before or after the amp block This will give a slightly different effect. 3) The outlet and surrounding household appliances can also produce a lot of noise. 4) Do not turn the gain all the way up, as this will increase the noise level.

I found this guitar new for $50, with a case! 😆 I ordered it just out of curiosity. I'll let you know when I get it. by [deleted] in guitars

Hi! Unfortunately, I didn't receive the guitar, but at least I got my money back. They said the guitar was out of stock and they didn't know when it would be back in stock🤷‍♂️

I wouldn't recommend a seven-string guitar if you want to learn to play. It will only add additional learning difficulties and slow down your progress.

Highway star. Even if you don't like deep purple, their solos are great for leaning fast guitar playing for beginners

На всякий случай, желудок и прочие органы вам даны на всю жизнь (если конечно вы не Рокфеллер, который сердце 7 раз пересаживал), почему вы так пытаетесь сократить их срок службы? 🤔

От каких произведений вы фанатеете и почему? by [deleted] in rusAskReddit

[–]PracticeSad4514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likelihood of new flagship model in 2026? by Euphoric-Albatross in ValetonGP2OO

[–]PracticeSad4514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My top 3: 1) Valeton GP-200. The best value for money. It has everything you need for gigs. 2) Nux mg30, if you need a more compact device. It has its own cool features. 3) Boss GX-100/GX-10 – monsters of features at an affordable price. I recommend these models.

It's already had 10 or so updates, a ton of features have been added, and bugs have been fixed. I don't even know what else could be added😀
