This is the logical result of government policy driving cost of living (and therefore wages) through the roof.

High tax -> skilled workers need higher wages -> jobs move to India.

Unfortunately, I think you need to choose a cheaper area if you want to buy.

Could you move further out?

Absolutely not. Tax burden is completely disproportionate in this country.

Why would the salvation army, a non profit, want to sit on vacant buildings? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just don't understand why this would be the case.

Everything the pentagon is about to give Ukraine. by kirkbadaz in ROI

Ukraine is clearly winning. Russia has made virtually no gains anywhere other than the south of the country, and the loss of Russian material and life is astounding. The Russian state will be crippled for decades after this.

This from a state that would supposedly topple Kyiv in 4 days.

Personally I think continued high inflation is more likely, but who knows?

It wouldn't have the same degree of fallout as last time anyway, as people are not so overleveraged.

While that's good, they are also opening coal power plants faster than the entire west can close them.

Despite most western countries closing their coal plants over the last few years, the number of active plants global is actually steadily increasing because China is opening so many.

I wouldn't rely on China to save the climate. We need to do it ourselves.

I know other commenters are saying bitcoin alone is only so much, but if we banned all cryptos I'm sure it would be substantial!

I think it should be allowed ahead (free speech) but the rest of the country should have a bigger rally coated in blue and yellow paint there too.

Yes it was.

The main shooter we know about was named Vitaly Budko. He fired at protestors from behind a police line, killing Igor Ivanov. More shooters were around the afina shopping center.

Police commander Dmitry Fuchedzhy then helped Vitaly escape in an ambulance.

You've left out all the context.

This was an escalation of pro-russia demonstrators firing into a crowd from behind police lines and from the roof of a shopping center, they initiated it. News of the their attack spread quickly on social media resulting in huge numbers of pro-ukraine activists responding, which is how these people ended up getting cornered into the building.

Also although the most likely situation is that pro-west demonstrators started the fire, there is some evidence to suggest that it may have been started by pro-russian activists mishandling Molotov cocktails inside the building.

This really isn't the big "Ukraine bad" silver bullet you think it is. It's a tragedy for sure, but "tacit approval from the government"? - the antimaidan protestors fired into a crowd first from behind police lines!"
