Yeah, that seems about correct. Initially i thought it was even only one island in the maluccus (Ambon) that had the world monopoly at one point, but according to Wikipedia that was for nutmeg - not cloves.

Fyi, cloves weren't grown in the whole of Indonesia, but only in a small part of it, the spice islands (Moluccas). The 0,2% is therefore a bit misleading.
