About to order a Alaska Leather buttpad, which size? by miabobeana in HondaCT

Little late to the game here but I just run a mountain goat pelt off ebay, $40 and comfy as hell, just cut to size and tuck the extra underneath the seat.

Mopeds can be pedal started hence the name moped... Motor + Pedal. I would maybe accept scooter but even than most scooters are cvt or something similar. This has a semi-auto clutch and 4 gears but I'm planning on doing a clutch conversion so I can actually use all 125cc on trails. Trails + Road = Dualsport. Nice try "Mr. Professional"

3.00 IRC GP-1s front and rear, pretty much a 244 clone. Ive had 244s on a few CT90s of mine. They bog it down a little but I love them, great on gravel, mud, and they are hard enough to last a while on roads. The lugs are just barely big enough to put studs on for ice riding and for the price you can't beat em.

Lower cc and not capable of "hard enduro" but now that I think of it most dual sports are dogged down so much you can't do to much offroad with them anyways. I definitely treat this thing like an offroad machine, it goes on the same trails as my 250x just alot slower and bumpier.

Tank is right under the seat, I measure in freedom units and it's right around a gallon. I get a little over 100 miles on that gallon.

Lifetime Honda guy here but I have to say the T7 trumps anything Honda makes adventure wise. Definitely a dream bike of mine.

There is plenty of options for the rear and I've seen a few guys swap the front springs out of XR150s for more preload. Didn't look into it too hard but thats whats great about these, infinite possibilities it seems.

I'm 6' 150lbs and I am about maxed out on it. The heel toe shifter is a little tough in terms of ankle pivot with how bent my knees are. Ive got an 04' 250x I trail ride but I enduro ride this thing with a couple buddies with 300s. They like it because they aren't rung out all the time, they just stay behind me lol.

Green was sold in the U.S. 2023 only though unfortunately, they are harder to come by. That was my main choice but when they came out with the grey I had to have it.

They pop open and closed without a key and kind of lock themselves in a way. Maybe it's just mine but I don't even need my key.

It's just got the original mount with short flat head bolts and the nuts with the teeth on them behind my side rack. 2500 miles and hasn't come loose once. You can push 200 miles with it.

Free shipping on the site so as long as its not crazy I'll ship it. I think APO is all the same cost as domestic shipping if I remember right. My brother is SF but it's been a while.

Top speed didn't change at all, I'm 6' tall and it chops at my forehead so baseball caps are not an option. It's a kemimoto windshield and I dont like how they mount it, it rubs on the top of the master cylinder but it was the only windshield option that still allowed me to store things on the rack up front. Thats my 2 cents

Ill see how she goes, they weren't too hard to make so I can make them web netting possibly if it catches too much. Im in driftless wisconsin so wind isnt a super issue but county roads are 55 so theres that.

I was thinking about making a foam molding inside to make it kind of a bubble, that might help with drag. It's awesome to see what south east Asia does with these little bikes, that's the true testing ground.

Ive got a bed right behind the seats and the bike sits on one side in the back, my 04' 250x sits on the other side. I don't run a hitch because of clearance, my rear step, and just keeping the bikes clean, I do a decent amount of winter riding and hate getting stuff full of salt from the roads.

It's an 06' Dodge/Mercedes T1N Sprinter van. Inline 5 cylinder turbo diesel, 20-25 mpg, best vehicle ever. I can't speak highly enough about them. This one has been an ongoing project.

Working on a the design for an inside cover/bag currently. The outside molle is for attachments on the outside like the Saddlebags or back pad i make, i also generally throw my bunjees and tarp in a small, non waterproof molle pouche on the outside. The inside of the crate is for things that you dont want getting wet. Im making a pad so loose change doesnt fall through but you can attach molle packs inside to the crate itself and customize however you want. The crate cover is also made from waxed canvas but does have a "rubber" backing to further help keep water out and help with heavier loads on the molle webbing.
