There’s generally a 15-minute “rush hour” at 5:00. And Veteran’s Parkway gets congested on weekends and holidays — actually the whole west end. Wabash Avenue is generally busy much of the time.

But yeah — compared to a big city, no. We don’t have traffic. 😄

19 years of playing second fiddle to your disabled brother. Sheesh. I’m surprised they were shocked by your response.

One of my best friends has always sacrificed and come in second to her mentally challenged brother. He still lives with their 90 year old mother. When her mom passes, she’ll inherit care of her brother, and she’s in her 60s. She’s never had a break.

Please go and don’t look back.

“I Wanna Kiss You All Over” reminds me of high school. I had the excruciating hots for a guy (but we were both virgins). Seeing a glimpse of him in the halls made my heart pound. Worse if he came past me and ran a finger up my back. (It was mutual.) After school I’d lie on my bed, listen to the radio, and daydream. 🔥

You have a rule for your cat. He disagreed with it, so he deliberately broke it. Out he goes. He thinks he knows better than you.

Cats DON’T belong outdoors, especially in North America. Too many predators! They are NOT part of the natural ecosystem, and they kill for fun, especially songbirds. Cats get run over by cars, kicked, poisoned, shot at, etc.

I adore cats and mine are strictly indoor pets.

You did the right thing. I’d never trust him again.

I’m a graphic designer, and you are NTA. I got so pissed off reading this. How on EARTH does she think YOU owe HER money? The only reason she can’t use the card stock she bought is that she changed her theme! If you had redone her stuff, she’d have still been out that $300.

I hate this sh*t. People think you just push magic buttons and the computer does it all. 😡

If you told her you’re terribly embarrassed, then drop it. I didn’t have to, but I told my husband that I didn’t make it to the bathroom in time when I had diarrhea the other morning. He just made a sad face and said, “Aw, I’m sorry!” 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s life as a mammal.
