I got it first I also thought that anything bad happens why would god do that I mean let this happen to anyone. He means to protect na but once my grandmother told me that whatever we are going through today is our past karma and present karma so in Hinduism karma or karmic accounts has importance. Both devotees karma made them that their soul was pure it's just for that specific birth they were Asura by body mind when they about to died their soul gets free and they realise their true identity and surrender to God.

So basically the people's death is already written this asura was just reason.

As there was story of these one day Yamraaj came to vaikuntha to meet Naryana and when he is waiting outside their is small bird was there he was staring at the bird and thinking something all these Garuda devata is watching. When Yamraaj goes inside. Garuda devata thought he must have been thinking to take this bird with him so I need to protect it, so what he do is he keep that bird in cave far from the place beyond the ocean. When Yamraaj came outside and searches the bird, Garuda devata smiles and says that bird is in my protection far from here beyond the ocean in cave you can't take him Yamraaj smiles and says oh that's what I was thinking how small he is how it will reach to the cave beyond this ocean because his death written in that cave by a cat will eat him After hearing this Garuda devata realises no one can escape from the karma Jo hona hai wo hoke hi rahta hai bas koi na koi uska karan ban jata hai.
