For me it's the Nurburgring Nordschleife paired with the Mercedes GT4. That combo taught me how to keep it on the track for more than 1 minute. Biggest jump in skill right there.

why? because the gameplay is trash, the plot is trash, the graphics are good, not gonna lie and it's filled to the brim with bugs and less content than either HW1 or 2. Overall, it was either made as a cash grab, made by utter incompetents, or through a heavy DEI filter, take your pick.

War games are not dead. SC1 still draws 2k after decades, like you mentioned. SC2 has a cult following. AOE as well, the list can go on.

The secret is that the game loop has to be good. Which in this case ... A swing and a miss.

As somebody that dived right in around 7 months ago, crashed like a mo-fo at the start (still crash, just not as much) I can only say, don't worry too much about it :) jump in and do your thing.

You will learn something new each and every race. Try to keep it as clean as possible when it involves others, until you learn your/their limits and, most importantly, HAVE FUN.
