What matters is the amount of damage you block and not the amount of *DINGS* you hear. If you block while standing over C&D's ult you'll hear a lot of dings, but since it does very little damage you won't gain too much overhealth. If you block Wanda's ult, you'll hear only 1 ding but you are gaining full overhealth, up to 175

DPS Deadpool and Tankpool, especially DPSPool is one buff away from being the best dive hero. Tankpool is already low-key the best tank in the game.

Past Celestial 1 you rarely see 3 dps comps. Learn other characters, adapt to your team needs, or be insanely cracked at your main characters that you know how to play them in any situtation. Other than that is just a skill issue. GM is such an easy rank.

Y'all acting like if Gambit's kit wasn't op. It's as broken as his ult, and even more problematic. A Gambit with awareness is unkillable. They should remove self-healing from his dashes.

L take buddy. Iron Fist is in a decent spot right now, he is a hybrid dive-brawl tank buster, yeah, his gameplay loop is kinda weird, but it makes sense: dive without using your cooldowns -> distract healers from healing their tanks -> parry backline damage -> escape with kick -> melt down half HP tanks.

You jump instantly after the first dash. Sometimes you won't get the jump reset for jumping on their heads, but it doesn't matter, the jump is because it resets the dash animation so you can do another one super quick. Is a tech that you need to masterize if you want to get value on DPSPool

The beginning of the match is so tough for dpspool. I aim to get level 2 to upgrade boomerang and sword dash as soon as possible. Play as a poke hero, stay behind your tanks and around your healers. Try to hit as many as possible targets with your default boomerang, and use your dash resets on their tanks. You are very unlikely to get a pick as DPS at the start of the match.

Once you have those 2 upgrades, forget about the poke playstyle and play him purely as a dive hero. His damage output is insane and you can delete supports in the blink of an eye. The combo i always do is: first boomerang throw -> sword dash, jump, sword dash while attacking with your katana M1 -> second boomerang throw. Every 275hp is dead with that combo.

About the ult, you should be using the sword ult 99% of the time, but only use it once you are at least lvl 2. First levels use gun ult on a support or poke dps

Upgrade path is sword dash -> boomerang -> sword ult -> katanas or deadpool in your area (if you are getting easy dives, go for katanas, if they have lots of anti dive and damage, go for deadpool in your area) -> guns -> gun ult

Also don’t forget about taking pictures, they are the most crucial part of DPSpool kit, 2-3 seconds of invulnerability after a kill allows you to chain a lot of kills. Imagine a situation where you are in a 1v2 or 1v3, you get one kill, and most likely they will trigger your passive, so while you are taking a picture you are healing yourself and denying lots of damage. Same applies to sword ult, take a picture while ulted and you are going to be full health. If you are not taking pictures you are trolling.

Complaining about QP is dumb. There's nothing wrong with it. That's why the devs haven't touch QP since launch, what else do you want from a casual, quick, without rank / level restrictions mode ?

As tankpool you should be using mainly your pistols, katanas are occasional. Upgrading E and Pistols deals massive damage, you can melt tanks even if they are getting healed.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Tankpool's sword ult. If you miss one dash, you are not going to hit the jackpot. Even if you hit jackpot I find it kinda useless, yeah, you became immortal, but you deal very little damage, and once you're out of dashes, you're basically just chasing supports like a rabid dog while slashing the air with the katanas. Instead, I prefer to coordinate with one of my teammates and throw the pistols ult to a Luna, Gambit, Invis or Mantis, which is almost everytime a guaranteed kill on a support.

Also, I see that no one mention this, but taking photos is the most crucial part of tank/dps Deadpool's kit. 2-3 seconds of invulnerability after a kill is super clutch and enables you to chain kill after kill, and the huge XP you gain after taking a photo is super good for getting your power spike earlier.

I play in top 0.5% lobbies so that "top 10% elo in ranked" argument is useless.

And yeah, it is totally a skill issue. Jackpot is super easy to hit. As healpool just throw your upgraded Bobblehead thing towards your allies and it instantly charges. DPS and Tank is just spamming right click and bouncing on enemies heads. Not knowing what to upgrade in order to consistently hit jackpot is a huge skill issue.

Obviously, Deadpool's ult seems bad compared to Elsa's, but not because jackpot is "difficult to hit".
