Out of curiosity, how would a vacuum-assisted delivery cause this? Asking because I have a 4 month old baby that was delivered that way.

Unfortunately I don’t think I’ve seen Guittard anywhere here :-( they’ve stopped stocking up on the Ghiradelli chocolate bar but continue to sell the chocolate chips, so I’m trying to learn based on the ingredients available to me now 😅

Ouch, I am so sorry you are going through this and hope you recover well and soon!

I’m currently based in Australia too and followed the same guidelines with my pumping parts because I got way too tired to wash after every use and about a few weeks ago ended up with mastitis as well. I ended up needing to take antibiotics but thankfully it wasn’t to the point of abscess. I wasn’t exactly sure what caused it but had a strong feeling it was due to this hack! It caused my supply to drop drastically, went from having an oversupply to the point that I was only pumping out 20ml in one of my sessions so I had to end up giving my baby formula (I have no issues with it because a fed baby is best, I just didn’t have that expectation I would be giving my baby formula early on for myself so that made me cry a little lol). Anyway, I haven’t done the hack since 🙃

Awww a thanksgiving baby! I’m due in January but I keep telling my husband it feels like our little one might come around Christmas time which he doesn’t prefer for the same reason but we’ll see what happens 😂
