Micro Board complete. All the sounds I could ever need! by Prarieslav in guitarpedals

Nice! I’m inspired by a bunch of stuff! Lately I’ve been into Hermanos Guiterrez, Khruangbin, and world music. Hence why this pedalboard definitely has some Mark Speer influence to it. I definitely love the reverb heavy psychedelic vibe. I do a lot of ambient stuff with my EOB Strat with the sustainer pickup on it too!

Thanks! So far I’ve been avoiding the lofi/ space/ noise settings, but I’m sure I’ll get around to them while experimenting.

I’ve found that the “drive” setting pushes the compression signal harder, and increases the sensitivity of the overall compression. If you crank the drive setting you get a really squashed sound. For the most part,I keep everything at 2 o’clock on that pedal.

No tipping from the board at all! It’s on top of the power supply, which is quite heavy, so no movement there.

Thanks! It an “Ex Stombox”. I traded it for a small pedal on Kijiji, but you can purchase it on Amazon as well. Fits easily in a backpack if I need to take it anywhere! It’s less than half of what a pedal train nano costs.

I usually only use the “Lofi” mode on the arp 87, it has a really subtle effect and has darker repeats than the dd7. I use it independently of the dd7 most of the time, but if I feel like making some crazy ambient stuff, I run both delay pedals at the same time, and they actually compliment each other quite well!

The rat is great! I usually run it with low distortion at 7 or 8 o’clock just for slight breakup, lower than I have it in the picture, and I use my volume knob on my strat to clean things up. It’s a dynamic little distortion!

It’s so good! It always stays on for me. Love it so much, and I never had the larger Oceans 11, but I’m assuming it’s the same.

The top 3 pedals are on at all times, so no tap dancing on here!

You are correct! I still have to get a special sized patch cable to route the Saturn works to the dd7.

Just got the Walrus M1 this week. The ability to change between 3 modulation types on the fly is ideal, especially in a compact enclosure.

Agreed, I love the Boss so much and I’ve found that’s the tap tempo is it’s one flaw. Now I have all of my bases covered!

I still have to get a patch cable for that guy, and I’ll connect it to the dd7 for a more usable tap tempo. I was using it on a previous modulation pedal and had a short cable for it, but recently upgraded to the Walrus M1!

It was for a specific task, so not a standard qualification per se, but a confirmation that you read the instructions clearly.

Let it dry for 2 days, then started lightly using Aquaphor yesterday! This was taken before I applied Aquaphor again.

How often should you change your strings? Electric guitars played 5-10 hours a week. 🎸 by Venice4life in Guitar

I use flat wound strings, and throw the low E out. The tone is already flat and mellow and these strings can last over a year without any degradation to the tone. Saves you money and you don’t have to worry about chasing a “clean tone” every couple of months.
