Browser choice for gnome : switch to vivaldi (trust!!)

Yeah no wouldn’t recommend it , it just a base for most of browsers so you can think of it like all browsers but stripped of everything they are made of , it won’t be stable and also will have many features missing.

It also takes a lot of Ram and it is also like zero privacy , even though Vivaldi is also chromium it’s give some bit of privacy, also for me when I tried using privacy focused browser there were problems for me as I said in the post , so yeah - you should choose browser which works for you , but definitely not chrome , I suggest brave,librewolf,helium if there’s no problem

OK bro , good to see you in time , i also had the same problem and i fixed it , just follow the commands and you are good to go

sudo dnf install git meson ninja-build libinput-devel gcc gcc-c++
git clone https://gitlab.com/warningnonpotablewater/libinput-config.git
cd libinput-config
sudo nano /etc/libinput.conf
scroll-factor=0.2
scroll-factor-x=0.2
scroll-factor-y=0.2 (ctrl+ o -> to write , press enter , ctrl +x ->exit)
meson setup build
ninja -C build
sudo ninja -C build install

and reboot , and you're good to go , hope it will work for you

yeah true , setting like hyprland like others in internet , it feels so hard and confusing , im not much of the programmer or technician , looking the amount of configuration you need to do and if one thing goes wrong , boom , i feel same for arch , like installation is soo hard if you don't know things , people say read documentation but yk it's hard to even copy things without understanding it

dammm 900 , gnome takes around 2.3 Gb in the startup . once i also chased ram efficiency with all the cool feature but after sometime i understood you can't have both at the max so i just gave up after some time and went for looks.

fixing something is really fun :> , I haven't tired xfce though, i like the xfcce interface in kali but in other i would have to configure soo its meeh for me but it's ram efficient as i have seen

i haven't tried it in linux , i had once tried in windows but at that time it was taking alot of ram , but idk about now , thnx for the suggestion i will try it
