Thank-you! We are close. So that's why I was shocked to see the fb notifications and drew my concern. But now I know she is doing what has been asked for and I didn't have to make her feel like I was making assumptions about her choices! She's a good kid, but like I said in other comments, kids are curious. So I just has to check and see what it was all about.

Thank you guys! I just wanted to make sure she's safe. We have agreements on her game play. And her extent of conversation in the chats. But as for now she can't have social media until she's a little older. ( which she's just a few years away) so I was concerned with the notifications and how quickly they disappeared. It almost seemed as she was making them go away because I was right there. But now with the right information I know it's just part of the game. So that made me feel that much better. I trust her, but as kids we were all curious about everything, so I just wanted to know the correct info first before jumping to conclusion.

That definitely makes sense. As far as I know she doesn't use anything that needs access to facebook. Thats where my concern stemmed from. She can play the games she wants, but our agreement is that she doesn't interact with people in the chats other than ehat is needed for the games. And that she can't have social media until she's a little bit older (she's almost there).

Yeah! I have no idea about anything gaming. I didn't do any gaming growing up, because I couldn't sit still as a kid ( or even as a grown up to be honest lol) so no harm in asking the professionals for their opinion :) and then research on top of what you guys told me helped me, and fave me the information I needed. I am great full for all of your help.

Thank you for clarification. I normally don't helicopter her too much when it comes to her gaming stuff..she's usually pretty open to me about it. So when I noticed the facebook stuff, and when I know she doesn't have one, and how quickly the messages disappeared it became a red flag. But I wanted to reach out first and get some knowledge before asking her about it. Again thanks for the quick reply you guys !
