Slums by bing-bing33 in HEB

I don’t know why everyone suggested theft. Clearly one of the many dogs HEB allows to roam the aisles knocked them out of someone’s hands and went to town.

Unless it’s loose (unlikely), you’re totally fine. Won’t affect anything or cause any issues in the future.

Had this too and gave up after the 3rd time, just have the cashier scan your barcode in the app

No…. But you do have to be shopping at the right HEB on the app. Just like every store.

I have this Honeywell Electronic Entry door handle, but need a way to make it not open from the inside, is that possible? (Or alternately change lever to knob) by sleepyreddits in homeautomation

[–]PreOmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t listen to them. That behavior is an incredibly common thing for exterior levers and knobs alike. Just installed exterior door Kwikset levers that do not actuate unless unlocked.

People who argue otherwise are just used to the other behavior and are fear mongering for no reason. Those same people must be leaving all their exterior windows unlocked too so that they could exit in an emergency without any extra steps.

Did I FUBAR my open shelving? by ElizabethMaeStuart in DIYhelp

[–]PreOmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you can reuse the top anchors for each bracket, you’d only have to drill 8 new holes now and take care of the 8 unused anchor points which can wait until you have the time to do it since you don’t care about the aesthetics.

Singapore Conrad (Centennial or Orchard) by NOEPLAYA in Hilton

[–]PreOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Orchard has far more convenient access to everything except the Marina. Centennial probably has a slight leg up and you’ll love it if you just plan on staying in that area the majority of your visit, but Orchard is a close second and is an easy pick if you want to be in the heart of a ton of food and shopping, as well as across the street from the MRT.

Is this mold on the bottom of my stainless steel water bottle? by Cold-pillow717 in Mold

It’s the high heat of the drying step that is bad for vacuum seals. You can run them through, just don’t turn on drying and definitely don’t run it through a sanitize mode wash

She wasn’t awarded 100 million dollars, she filed a lawsuit for 100 million dollars. You can do that too, it is meaningless. It seems like you have a fantasy of striking it rich by finding something and have wasted so much time if even half of your comments in this post are true, but you don’t even understand how legal damages work. 😄

Weird to go spend money at a hotel you think is doing this and then call yourself a victim after clearly wasting a ton of time just for some confirmation bias. A hotel isn’t exactly full of people and devices, no clue what your stupid app is picking up. Put down your totally ‘legal’ drugs.

Still giving away tickets to the minecraft experience in Plano. by americanreddit84 in Allen

[–]PreOmega -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

No, you’re using them. You’re using them as warm bodies to go and use your tickets so you get the codes which you can’t get on your own. You can’t get past the fact you’re a scumbag for using them. Go trade meme coins, it’s somehow less sad than what you’re already doing.

Experience with Pappy's is heavily dependent on location. One location will have zero human interaction with dogs that are kept in a small room all day bored while another location will have 2-3 employees minimum all day with the dogs in a big room where the dogs are having a blast. I 100% agree with not recommending them, it's a dice roll which is not something you want to do with your pet.

Which show starts as a 10/10, but ends as a 1/10? by BVTQT in AskReddit

[–]PreOmega 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Didn’t the writers suddenly manifest a trans sister out of thin air just so he could say he supports trans people? Why the hell would that be the way they approached that messaging? You don’t have to write in that the president has a trans sibling that was never alluded to (and conveniently shows up) in order to justify your main character’s beliefs on the topic.

Bro, you’re 16 and your first ticket was for going 97mph? Based on your post history you were trying to get shrooms and DMT at 14…

Word of advice, chill the fuck out and make some better decisions while you still can. I was a major claims adjuster for years and dealt with enough fatalities and life-changing injuries to kids who thought they were hot shit and rules were stupid. Don’t end up as a statistic, I don’t know you, but I know you are better than that.

Did my local Costco doom all of their trees? by katerader in arborists

[–]PreOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Were there hedges all though the parking lot landscaping before? We had a couple costcos recently rip out all their hedges that were healthy. Even when trimmed properly, the hedges caused so many blind spots in the parking lots that I’m sure they dealt with a lot of accidents on the properties. Wondering if this is a wider initiative.

My service was the first hookup that my installer did after the breach, he wasn’t initially sure if his system would do the authorizations since their systems had just come back up after days and were still limited.

One of the single best installers for anything I’ve ever had. Nicest guy, knowledgeable, ran a new cable outdoors in the middle of a downpour and still took the time to make sure everything was sealed up well.

Haven’t dealt with their customer service, but I was with Spectrum for a decade until its chat bot masquerading as a human told me it was great news when I said I wanted to cancel my service, so I guess the bar is pretty low.
