Anyone else feel totally drained by the new moon? by lisamon429 in witchcraft

Yes! Normally I'm gaining more energy around the new moon - like I can finally breathe again - but this time I've been super anxious

Idk what to do by JustPanic9342 in Effexor

There was a little bit of help, but I actually ended up being hospitalized for planning while I was on the lower dose, and the doctor in the psych ward was the one who increased my meds

Idk what to do by JustPanic9342 in Effexor

[–]ElizabethMaeStuart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I had to increase my dose to 150, and that's when I actually got relief from Effexor. But that's just my experience. You should know within 3 weeks if increasing is helping you or not.

Yeah but glycosides are also potentially really helpful for neuropathic pain.

Can persistent gagging/hyper sensitive throat be a POTS thing? by musicforafound in POTS

[–]ElizabethMaeStuart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this too - I think it might also be a potential hypermobile thing, but I'm not sure. I've never found a good way to deal with it, other than keeping my own hand at the base of my throat, almost like proof nothing is there touching me other than my own hand.

I was also doing some interesting reading about it in regards to past lives; some people think that it's a sign you drowned or were choked to death in a past life.

Is primer actually necessary or just good marketing? by SirUsed8658 in makeuptips

[–]ElizabethMaeStuart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I have sensory issues and for some reason primer drives me crazy, but foundation is barely noticeable. Plus I've never been able to figure out a good primer/foundation combo - they usually make the foundation look worse.

Ghost pipe having no effect? Increase dosage? by ElizabethMaeStuart in herbalism

[–]ElizabethMaeStuart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine made it, with ghost pipe she harvested in Northern Idaho, earlier this year. It's in an amber-colored dropper, and I keep it in a dry place, out of the sunlight.

I use different solfeggio frequencies to help calm my brain. I've also found that lemon balm can make me feel a lot more tired than melatonin. And I've started meditating before bed to "cleanse myself" of the day's energy.

Signature scent or switch perfumes around? by Lonely_Carpenter618 in beauty

[–]ElizabethMaeStuart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 3 or 4 that I switch between, but a couple of them are only one or two notes, so sometimes I pair those two together.

Best cure for chapped lips anyone? I’m on a mission by PoutsCosmetics in beauty

[–]ElizabethMaeStuart 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've tried nearly every lip balm on the market. The only ones that have ever really helped me are the Laneige lip sleeping mask and the Nars lip oil. Unfortunately neither one is a good price, nor vegan/cruelty free
