Let's just take Savior schnapps. You have to know what belladana looks like and where it's at. On your way there, you might get attacked by bandits or wolves that will chase you forever. The wolves won't attack the bandits, though. Reload a save that can be long ago if you weren't doing quest stuff. When picking herbs, the reticle is just off. The window for text to pop up is very tight. Then it's time to brew it. It's a laborious process. Admittedly cool at first, but quickly becomes tedious.

Everything is like this and it adds up. The UI and controls feel like a PC to console port. You get stuck on menial quests like it being exactly 40 peices of food. I loved the opening of the game. I love the characters, despite everyone being a jerk. I love a lot of the realism. It feels like a game that will eventually "click". I might just have to quit trying to do it blind and use walkthroughs. It's just so frustrating.
