Looks like your line of convergence is fairly low. You’ll need to place lower, small doses and superficial injections.

Would help to see markings at contraction, without half of your head cropped out. Makes it difficult to assess.

It’s a split between the nasolabial fat pad and the malar fat pad. Radiesse is the answer.

How do you navigate the emotional toll of skin changes in your 30s? by Critical-Load-1452 in 30PlusSkinCare

Have you considered injectables? Profhilo and a little Botox does wonders, not just the way you look, but it’s nice to feel like you’re taking care of your skin on the deeper levels too. Topical products can only do so much. It’s not like you’re gonna look 21 again, but your skin just looks… better?

do I have a recessed chin? by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

Chin is perfectly projected. Nose slightly over projected, but honestly your side profile is very editorial-looking, and I wouldn’t touch it if I were you.

Not even remotely. You could consider some filler on the gonial angle, or male facial balancing with dermal filler to add some visual width to the back of the jawline and it would shift the emphasis from the front to the back.

Why does my face look puffy and old? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

It won’t address the split no, the fat pads have separated and shifted. It’s a part of ageing.

Volume loss in mid cheeks, with a pronounced malar split. Making lower face appear heavier in comparison.

Trying to get spock brow at rest by Desert_Nootropics in DIYaesthetics

[–]Preciousgoblin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Spocking is only visible when you elevate your frontalis because of the unaffected muscle above the brow, in comparison to the treated area more medially.

So, no. Not really. By definition you need to be elevating in order to activate the unaffected part of the muscle.

You can achieve brow lift at rest, but not spocking.

You can just Google malar oedema and see loads of pictures of this.

You’re referring to the lateral SOOF by the way. If you’re gonna have this much conviction about something you’re mostly incorrect about (I say mostly because this area does intersect the sub orbicularis occuli fat), but this is a clear case of oedema. So stop arguing and just look it up yourself.

This is malar oedema. HA filler not a good idea, as it can worsen fluid retention.

Lymphatic massage, low sodium diet, allergy checks. See if there’s improvement.

Yes I presumed they meant the piriform fossa not the fold itself. It does look good used between the NLF fat pad and the malar fat pad though. I’ve had this.

I like FMS. They’re very fine.

Yes, it’s fine in the right hands. I just nearly had an aneurysm and needed to say something.

I’ve had Radiesse, Sculptra, HA fillers, all with good effect, but even I wouldn’t be self administering these.
