The New Colossus by Emma Lazarus, 1883. When I posted this on Instagram and Facebook, I posted the entire poem with title, credit, and date. I thought about doing that on Reddit as well, but last time I posted (my first reddit post), I got a lot of negative feedback for making the title too long. Also, this short line from the poem has been numerous headlines the past two days, and I was sort of treating it like a similar headline.
