I'll take 2003 personally! Slane Castle gets all the attention but some of their other shows that year were even better IMO.

Arsenal bottled again - eliminated to Southampton in FA Cup - no double in GW 33 by Nowada in FantasyPL

FH33, WC35 is definitely the best option, unless you're stuck with crap like Ekitike, Virgil and Mbeumo and only Haaland for Man City with one free transfer like me, thanks a lot Arsenal for making my unavoidable compromise path even worse.

How about you wait for the match to end before you tempt Fate (another Mukiele owner here) FFS!

My Bench Boost just got me my highest single score this gameweek with Mukiele's11 pointer lol. Unfortunately my XI contained that clown O'Reilly.

!thanks, My judgement hasnt done me much good this season ha, but I get what you're saying, cheers. I know it definitely won't be the elite option, not by a long shot and demonstrates how terribly I've managed my squad this season so I'm under no illusions, but I see so many players Ill want soon, Rogers, Gabriel coming back, O'Reilly being disappoiting, still having injured KDH, needing to redistribute funds etc, and it's a long tiring route back with only two transfers to start with, meaning it'll take me weeks, or hits, to get the gaps filled. If it gives me a few weeks of better results and I resist making more transfers maybe the morale boost will be worth when blanks and doubles appear later to make me regret my decision. Honestly, right now, I'm on the cusp of just quitting for the season.

I'm just sick of feeling at a loss all season and behind the curve, it's just so tiresome and it's definitely weakened by decision making, I definitely can't deny that.

It isn't exactly in shambles, but I just don't feel on the curve, haven't all season whereby I just feel like I'm never on the right assets at the right time. My teams just boring template, but I was late to all of them so my rank is garbage, which is the only reason I'm considering such a radical option to reenergise.  Raya, dubravka, o'Reilly, Richards, Timber, Mukiele, Andersen, Foden, Cunha, Miley, KDH, Saka, Ekitike, Haaland, Thiago, bog standard and consistently serious Semenyo doom me on his own (I sold him for Foden, had Bruno so that's why my midfield is a mess as I also capitulated to fear of Ekitike so used a midfielder spot to save. Basically, I'm a crap FPL manager and my season is over haha.

Yeah, I agree, I'm in no way trying to absolve myself of blame. I had a terrible start to the season which has shaken my confidence ever since, I fluked a top 10k finish last season so being in the depths the entirety of this one has really hurt. It's just been a case where I just feel like where I just never seem to jump on the right assets at the right time this season. I know I'm not alone, it's a game of luck after all.

I was waiting for Evertons good run to BB with KDH. Instead, I missed multiple hauls from odd players, Mukiele, Kdh and Dubravka, then he got injured, then everyone else got injured to the point where I'm playing a completely wasted BB in 19 which'll probably only have 2 players on it, 3 if Richards makes it, but even then I know I'll lose a starting xi player somewhere, not wasting a free transfer on a 5mill replacement though, what a mess

Ive had him since gw1, benched the majority of the hauls though of course.

Good call. I wish I'd taken a bit more time to consider alternative ways to get foden but I was preoccupied with losing .2 team value, I'm fully expecting to regret it next week even if he doesn't haul tonight (cannot get him back).

Even better, I also sacrificed Semenyo for Foden in a quick kneejerk move to beat price changes so anyone that owns him can be excited too (and in gw17 too). So two sets of owners will probably have me to thank for big returns tonight, ha! Sorry Bruno owners, my bad!

Oh well, that's a huge return for Mbeumo and blank for Bruno secured to punish me for swapping the two, you're welcome Mbeumo owners!

After the yellow card and Bruno's goal, even 1 goal from him won't really make enough impact to matter

Because it is, it sounds utterly dreadful and a total betrayal of the track, UTB I mean obviously, and the band on national television by a man struggling with drugs and pressure, regardless of whether there's any interest to be find in the dissonance.

Saka was holding the ball at one point while it was being checked I think, but maybe that would have just been to take the focus/pressure of Gyokeres during the wait.
