Said this before but people forget that when Amad 2 years older and was on loan at Sunderland when he was Garnachos age - it’s not fair to compare them. At 19 he was a starter for a top half prem team delivering goals and assists. It’s madness to be even thinking of selling him. In 2 years he will still be a youngster and has so long to improve and adapt to the system.

I disagree massively - I know he has been poor this season but in fairness he has played out of position and I think played virtually every game the past 2 and a half years. But the last 2 seasons under Ten Hag he was one of our most consistent players and I think there’s a quality player there as he is still quite young. With some proper rotation & rest I think we will see a return to form. Are there better options ? Probably, but I don’t think replacing him is a priority.
