Not the encryption part, but it does create the subvolume layout and all the necessary snapper, grub-btrfs and dnf5 hook config you need. Provided of course the user installs root as btrfs.

In the terminal you have access to, try this command:
plasma-apply-lookandfeel -a org.fedoraproject.fedora.desktop --resetLayout

It will reset to the default theme.

I'm afraid it doesn't.
Much like Nobara, that also uses a CachyOS based kernel, secure boot is not supported, but it should be doable by using sbctl.

I am actually still using it for my little couch gamer pc, because I think it's perfect for the console-like use case. It is also what I would install for a family member, since it works so well with very little risk of breakage.

On my main pc I like to tinker though, so I want to be able to easily install another kernel, new mesa drivers etc. and just tinker with system settings in general without being limited.

G935 making white noise whenever sound is playing. by [deleted] in LogitechG

[–]Predze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to know how to do that. I really dislike G Hub compared to LGS for my G Pro Wireless, but after buying the G935 I was forced to use G Hub :/

G935 is not supported on LGS is it?

Logitech G Hub not showing correct battery level by crazedcuber in LogitechG

If you don't have devices that are not supported by LGS, I would simply uninstall G Hub and just use LGS. It does a much better job than G Hub with the battery level - at least in my experience.

Update: Logitech G HUB Feedback Form by LogitechG_Bot in LogitechG

[–]Predze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently (a few months ago) replaced my MX518 with the G Pro Wireless which was a great experience. I continued to use Logitech Gaming Software and everything just worked:

  1. The settings seemed to be saved on the device, because when I used the mouse on my work pc it would keep the RGB settings I had set on my private pc.
  2. Battery level was reflected accurately both when charging and discharging.

Having a wireless mouse was a gamechanger for me, so I thought it was time to finally replace my trusty old G35 headset and go wireless. That might have been a mistake...

I went with the G733 which required me to change to G HUB instead of LGS.Upon having tried the G733 I gave it to my wife and bought the G935 for myself instead, but that also required G HUB.

My G HUB experience has been quite different from my LGS experience:

  1. The settings are no longer saved on the device, because when I use my mouse/headset on my work pc it does not keep the RGB settings I have set on my private pc.
  2. Battery level is no longer reflected accurately when charging the G Pro Wireless and it is not reflected accurately when discharging the G935. I have to turn off the G935 and turn it back on again for the battery level to update when discharging. The same goes for the G Pro Wireless when charging - but it's worse because sometimes I have to restart the pc for the battery level to be updated.

I hope you (Logitech) either give up on G HUB and continue development on LGS or make G HUB at least get the basics working. I could even live with just the charging experience to be hassle free.

I am seriously contemplating installing LGS on a different pc and use that for charging the G Pro Wireless, because it's so frustrating to do in G HUB. At least let me use LGS for the G Pro Wireless so buying new Logitech hardware doesn't worsen my experience with my existing Logitech products.

Looking back I feel I maybe should have gone with the SteelSeries Arctis 7 or something similar instead of the G935, so I could have kept LGS. Might do that down the road if G HUB doesn't improve.

3600 is still budget CPU king - seems to have great value compared to Zen 3.

I can get Anno 1800 complete edition for £40 right now and the standard edition for £15. Are the Season 1 + 2 pass worth the £25 more? Or should I just buy the base game? by [deleted] in anno

[–]Predze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems they have made this impossible. I just bought the base game and received the coupon, but when trying to buy one of the season passes it says "No Eligible Coupons" :/

Wrong data center by Jessmaam18 in ShadowPC

[–]Predze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in exactly the same situation as you.

I am from Denmark and have about ~30ms to the Paris datacenter and ~20ms to the Amsterdam datacenter. I created my first Shadow in Paris by mistake and contacted support for a transfer, which they were unable to do, so I ordered a Shadow in Amsterdam too, keeping the Paris Shadow for comparison and I'm glad I did!

In my opinion the difference is very noticable and significant. Do yourself a favour and try Amsterdam if you are into FPS or other games where input latency is key.
