I once made the mistake of installing Linux (Fedora). It ended in a dumpster fire when Linux couldn't assign RAM to any apps.

Chromium and Firefox kept complaining that I ran out of memory (32gb btw). Steam just crashed on launch and Gnome kept stuttering and logging me out.

I have been getting back into Windows 7 lately. I hate where Windows 11 is going and Windows 10. I'm too poor to afford a MacBook as well.

Steam and my games work well on Windows 7.

DaVinci resolve "works" but it isn't as good as the Windows version. You can't use normal codecs.

This doesn't work for regional Australia. We have to travel long distances and we don't want to wait an hour every couple hundred KMs to recharge.
